VIRGIN FREEFEST IN COLUMBIA MD !!

THIS EVENT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE BIGGEST EVENT OF THE SUMMER, NOT ONLY IS IT THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF WOODSTOCK , BUT ALSO FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER VIRGIN FEST IS FREE, AND THE FIRST TIME ITS BEING HELD AT MERRIWETHER POST PAVILLION IN MD !! AND OF COURSE UR GIRL CHOKE WILL BE THERE FOR THE ENTIRE EVENT !!!!! START TO FINISH ILL BE OUT THERE TAKING PHOTOS AND SELLING A COUPLE THINGS AS WELL !!!! HOPE TO SEE YOU OUT THERE TOO !!!!!

Camp Cool Kids @ Capital Skyline Hotel

So my weekend is jammed packed full of events to do ....as usual im hopped up on caffeine and juice ! LOL
sooooooooooooo todays event was at the Capital Skyline Hotel in DC , Tabi Bonney and my boy I Can were celebrating their birthdays and The Brightest Young Things was hosting it !! Of course i was there taking a couple dope shots and enjoying this great saturday poolside.

1 DAY ..... 3 EVENTS

sooooooo after the Anacostia Jubilee and after Stone Soul i headed over to one of my favorite galleries Art Whino to check out whats new , walked around the national harbor ...which has grown since the last time i was there!!! We all vetured into the Gaylord Hotel to check out the scenery and it was HUUUGEEEEE..... almost uneccessarily huge.... so after that i passed out and its back to work today as im getting a couple of tables ready and painted for selling !!!!!

SO I SET UP SHOP AT THE SUMMER SPIRIT FEST OUT IN COLUMBIA! IT WAS A GREEAATTT EVENT!!! I WANTED TO SHOW YOU ALL SOME MORE PHOTOS OF THE NIGHT, BUT I DIDNT TAKE MANY PICTURES CUZ I WAS PROBABLY TOO BUSY TO WHIP THE CAMERA OUT .............. SO HERES A FEW:

THERE ARE SOOO MANY POSITIVE THINGS GOING ON WITH THIS EVENT, ITS GOING TO BE A VERY SPECIAL NIGHT. I HOPE EVERYONE CAN COME OUT TO SUPPORT THE ARTS!

Event Description:Liberated Muse Productions is at it again with another musical night of performances from DC's best and readings from the new book release Liberated Muse Volume I: How I Freed My Soul which features visual artists and writers from the Liberated Muse network.
Featured performers include songstress Quineice Clarkson, musician Gary Young, diva singer Mahoganee, poetic vocalist Ozara Ode and the spoken word of Margaux Delotte-Bennett and Jade Andwele of the renowned Saartjie ("Sar-Key) Project. Jazzy soul vocalist Colie Williams will open the show with a half-hour set with members from her band.
The evening will be hosted by Moon of www.LiberatedMuse.com and feature live art by visual artist extraordinaire Choke, the Liberated Muse member of this month of August.
Libeated Muse member, curator Sharon Burton will also curate an exhibit of visual art which will be open for viewing during the show at the Potter's House. The exhibit will feature work from artists featured in the book Liberated Muse Volume I: How I Freed My Soul and others.
Donations from the event will fund youth programming facilitated by the Saartjie Project. A $7 donation is requested, but all are welcome to pay as they can.
FOOD IS SERVED AT THIS VENUE.
This event is part of the Potter's House Sounds of Hope benefit series, produced by Mary Shapiro.

IM WORKING ON SO MANY NEW PROJECT! I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO DO A MURAL FOR NOTTINGHAMS TAVERN OUT IN COLUMBIA MD. THEY WANT A GRAFFITTI PIECE FOR THEIR COMEDY STAGE! I HAVE ALSO TAKEN ON THE CHALLENGE OF APPLYING FOR A FEW GRANTS IN DC WITH MY NEW FOUND ART FAMILY "LIBERATED MUSE" WE ARE TRYING TO GET THE PROJECT PROPOSALS FOR THE BRAND NEW ANACOSTIA AND BENNING RD LIBRARIES !!!!

So i been down in my CAVE creating all of this. i didnt even go to school for like 2 days cuz i was knee deep in paint and just couldnt separate myself from it.. I LOVE PAINTING !!!!!!!!!
